Greeting to all IMA doctors.

August was yet another month filled with meaningful and impactful activities by IMA Coimbatore Branch.

Our regular CGP and AMS activities were conducted with good participation. As part of World Breastfeeding Week, awareness programmes were organised at various places.

The “Achamindri Sel Penne” and “Valar Ilam Pen” Mahasangamam was conducted in association with the Singapenne Special Police Task Force on 08-08-2026, along with similar programmes at various locations.

On the occasion of World Organ Donation Day, an Awareness Rally and Walkathon were organised on 13-08-2026 to create awareness about the importance of organ donation.

The AAO GAO CHALEN Community Outreach Programme was conducted on 10-08-2026, extending healthcare services to the community.

As per the directions of IMA TNSB, we handed over the draft SOPs for the protection of medical professionals and medical institutions, an important step towards strengthening the safety and security of the medical fraternity.

I am also delighted to share that our IMA Coimbatore Branch Fine Arts Team secured First Place in the Overall Zonal Championship. This outstanding achievement reflects the talent, enthusiasm and team spirit of our members.

I sincerely thank all our office bearers, members and volunteers for their wholehearted participation and continued support.
